Q. What is the Visitors page for?
A. The Visitors page is where you can see information of the visitors who viewed your website. The information is displayed on an organized grid that you can sort and filter. You can see what date and time someone visited your page, what company they are from, the domain they were using, the network they were using, the amount of time they were on your site for, the city they viewed your website from, and what search term they used to find your website, all on the grid. This is a good way to find out useful information of the people visiting your website. Click on the link below to watch a short tutorial:

Q. How do I get to the Visitors page?
A. From the Home Page, click the bottom left box that says “Website Visitor Analytics”. From there you will be taken to the Website Visitor Analytics Overview page. At the top of the page under where you see your name you will see four white page links that say “Overview, Visitors, Analytics, and Campaign Impact”. Click on the page links that says “Visitors”.
Q. How do I know what time frame I am viewing results for?
A. If you are unsure of what time frame you are viewing on the graph, you can look at the date buttons that say “Today, Last 24 Hours, Last Week, Last 30 Days, Last 12 Weeks, Last 26 Weeks, Date Range” that are located above the grid. The date you are viewing is the date button that is colored blue. You can change the date you want to view by clicking on any of the date buttons.
Q. How do I view results for different time frames on the grid?
A. You can view results for different time frames on the grid by clicking on any of the date buttons that say “Today, Last 24 Hours, Last Week, Last 30 Days, Last 12 Weeks, Last 26 Weeks, Date Range” that are located above the graph. The button of the time frame you are currently viewing will be highlighted in blue.
Q. Can I see specific data for the visitors?
A. Yes, select the visitor on the grid and click on the green View Details button at the top of the grid. On the window that appears, you will be able to see:
- Information on the visitor, such as their domain and if they came from a mobile device
- The pages that visitor viewed
- The time the visitor spent on each page
- If that visitor may be a contact that you have in your ConnectedView account
- If that visitor may be a contact that you have in your LinkedIn account
- Other businesses that may be located near the visitor
Q. Can I view the details of each visitor without leaving the details page?
A. Yes, you can navigate to other visitor details by using the First, Previous, Next & Last buttons below the Pages Viewed button.
Q. Can I see what pages on my website people viewed?
A. Yes, you can click on a visitor on the Visitors grid and then click on the View Details button above the grid. The window that opens has a tab called Pages Viewed. Click on that tab to see the pages viewed by that visitor. The screen will also tell you how long that visitor spent on each page. You can also navigate to other visitors directly from this screen by using the First, Previous, Next & Last buttons located near the top of the page.
Q. Is there a way to tell if these visitors are people that I know or that I sent a campaign to?
A. Yes, you can click on a visitor on the Visitors grid and then click on the View Details button above the grid. The window that opens has tabs called ConnectedView Contacts & LinkedIn Contacts. Click on the ConnectedView Contacts tab to see a list of contacts in your ConnectedView account that the visitor may be. Click on the LinkedIn Contacts tab to see a list of contacts in your LinkedIn account that the visitor may be.
Q. Can I see if a visitor came to the website by using a Mobile Device?
A. Yes, you can click on a visitor on the Visitors grid and then click on the View Details button above the grid. The window that opens will show summary information at the top. This information includes what Mobile Device the visitor was using, if any, to visit your website.
Q. Can I see a list of companies in the area of the website visitor?
A. Yes, you can click on a visitor on the Visitors grid and then click on the View Details button above the grid. The window that opens has a tab called Google Places. Click on that tab to see a list of local businesses in the area of the website visitor.
