Q. How do I get to the “Website Analysis Tool”?
A. You must have a Gold or Gold+ subscription in order to access the Website Analysis Tool. Go to https://app.connectedview.com and enter your login id and password. From there you will be logged in. You will see four boxes in the center of your screen. The bottom right box reads “Website Analysis Tool”. Click the box or click the blue link inside of the box reading “Get Started”.
Q. What is the Website Analysis Tool overview page?
A. The Overview is a quick glance of what your site’s lowest, current, and highest ConnectedView ratings are. ConnectedView calculates this rating based on over 30 attributes of your website and scores it out of 100 points. The Overview quickly shows you how your website is currently rated compared to the lowest and highest rating that it has received in the past.
The ratings are shown on three color coordinating banners and meters. Your ratings appear on either red, orange, yellow, or green banners. The colors represent how well the website is doing – Red is poor, orange is fair, yellow is good, and green is excellent.
The overview page also allows you to view your ratings over time. You can view your site’s rating for last month, the last three months, the last six months, the last year, the year to date, or all ratings. It is displayed on an easy to read graph.

Q. How can I get back to the main page of ConnectedView?
A. You can either click the internet back arrow, which will take you back one page at a time or you can click the small green “home” button that is located on the top left corner under the ConnectedView logo.
Q. What do the three meter graphics on the Overview page represent?
A. The meters are a visual representation of the ConnectedView scores for your website. The first scale on the far left represents the lowest rating your website has received, the middle represents the current rating your website has, and the third farthest to the right represents the highest rating your website has received.
Q. What is the lowest rating?
A. The lowest rating is the lowest ConnectedView rating that your website has received since the first Site Report Card that you ran in ConnectedView. It is represented on the very first meter farthest to the left.
Q. What is the current rating?
Q. What is the highest rating?
Q. Why does the color of the banner where my rating is change?
A. The reason why the color may change is because the ConnectedView rating of your website may change into a different category. The color of the banner should be the same color of the area that the meter’s dial is pointing too.
- Red represents a “poor” rating
- Orange represents a “fair” rating
- Yellow represents a “good” rating
- Green represents an “excellent” rating
Q. How do I see my rating over time?
A. There are two tabs at the top of the screen. The one on the left reads “Overview” and the one on the right reads “Ratings Over Time”. Click the tab on the right that says “Ratings Over Time” and it will take you to a graph of your website’s ratings over time.
Q. What is the “Ratings Over Time” page for?
A. The “Ratings Over Time” page is a tool to help you visually see your website’s ConnectedView ratings over a period of time on a graph. You can view how your website is doing over the course of last month, the last three months, the last six months, last year, year to date, or all dates.
Q. Why don’t I see a line on the “Ratings Over Time” graph?
A. It could be that you have never run the Site Report Card or have only run it once. This graph tracks the ConnectedView rating each time you run the Site Report Card, which is what generates the ConnectedView rating.
Q. How do I view my ConnectedView ratings over different periods of time?
A. There are specific buttons to change the graph to your website’s rating for last month, last 3 months, last 6 months, last year, year to date, and all ratings. These buttons are located right above the graph. The graph that is currently on your screen is the button that is colored blue. The other buttons are colored grey when they are not being displayed on the graph. For example if you were viewing your website’s ratings for last year that button should be colored blue, and all the other buttons should be colored grey.
